Finally, some justice in the world!
Although we unfortunately cannot say this for the rest of the country, we're happy to report the people over in Clay County, West Virginia are still committed to fighting bigotry.
As you may remember, Pamela Taylor, director of Clay County Development Corporation, was removed from her position in early November after she publicly called First Lady Michelle Obama an "ape in heels" in a Facebook post.
Then the non-profit made the bizarre decision to reinstate Pam last Friday.
Thankfully, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin's office confirmed her permanent termination in a statement to The Huffington Post on Tuesday, saying:
"Following the state's request for specific assurances that the CCDC is following anti-discrimination policies, we have been assured that Pamela Taylor has been removed from her position as CCDC director."
It's a non-denominational holiday miracle!
While we normally wouldn't wish something like unemployment on anyone, we can't say we're sad about Pamela's current situation.
Although, now she's practically a perfect fit for Donald Trump's Cabinet of Horrors — so maybe she won't be out of work for long…
