Carrie Fisher may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.

The Star Wars alum's memory will be kept alive through her impressive and expansive body of work, and one particular deleted scene from The Force Awakens proves the late legend will always be remembered as a fierce female.

In the footage, the iconic actress showed off her signature wit and badass boldness, while ordering a Resistance fighter to reach out to the Galactic Senate.

Ms. Fisher joked:

"Tell them I insist the republic take action against the First Order. Not all the senators think I'm insane. Or maybe they do. I don't care."

While the clip had made its way online earlier this year, fans are re-sharing it to honor Carrie in the wake of her passing, and show off what a shining star she truly was.
