Suspect In Tricia McCauley's Untimely Death Claims The Actress Committed Suicide After Offering To Have Sex With Him

More terrifying details surrounding DC yoga instructor and actress Tricia McCauley 's death are coming to light.

As you know, suspect Adrian Johnson was charged this week with first degree murder after the Step Up actress was found dead from strangulation.

Now we learn Johnson is telling police that McCauley was suicidal and killed herself after voluntarily giving him all of her belongings. Hm, sounds suspicious.

According to police documents per ABC News, Johnson claims McCauley offered him a ride and later agreed to have sex with him on a curb. He says Tricia became emotional and fatally hung herself while Johnson was outside of the vehicle.

Johnson goes on to claim that he then drove the actress' car around D.C., using her credit cards, and even picked up a prostitute while Tricia's lifeless body was covered in the backseat. He says he thought McCauley was asleep and might wake up.

When Johnson was arrested, he admitted to having sex with the owner of the car, and also was quoted saying "that after he and the woman had sex, she was suicidal and hung herself in the car."

He later asked police:

"If someone is suicidal and gives you all their stuff is that illegal?"

The medical examiner reported finding blunt trauma to Tricia's back, and possible evidence of violent sexual assault. The cause of death was ruled as "asphyxia due to ligature strangulation with blunt force trauma and the manner of death to be homicide."

Wow. This is extremely unsettling.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum took to Twitter to say:

Johnson is due in court on January 13 — and we will keep you updated as we learn more.
