Residente is just days from dropping the first single of his anticipated solo album, for which he traveled the world to make music "based on his DNA."
Ahead of the track, which is set to drop on Friday (Jan. 13), the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter took to social media to share how the new single was crafted in the border of Mongolia with Siberian musicians.
"This is how we made the music of my first single ... I made music along with Siberian musicians from Tuva, located in central Asia," he captioned the post.

Last December, the Latin Grammy and Grammy-winning artist launched a website to go along with his new musical project, which includes an interactive map and snippets of the new songs, and a documentary with footage detailing his journey from Russia to Ghana and Spain, among many other countries.
