Liam Payne gives us a hilarious glimpse inside his and Cheryl's relationship [Instagram]
The speculation around the romance between One Direction's Liam Payne and X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been huge – now the pair have finally confirmed they are dating we take a look at the pop star couple's relationship timeline
The former Girls Aloud star is rumoured to be “expecting a baby” with her boyfriend, former One Direction star Liam Payne, although the couple haven’t formally addressed the claims.
The couple, who went public with their relationship earlier this year, have also sparked rumours that they’re set to walk down the aisle.
According to reports, Liam has been influenced by Cheryl’s best friend, Kimberley Walsh’s engagement.
The singer’s partner, Justin Scott, proposed in the delivery room – and it seems Liam is keen to do something similar.
A source previously told the Daily Star: “Liam got the idea to propose straight after the birth after finding out that Justin popped the question after the delivery of their first child.
"It’s given Liam so many ideas.
“There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected.”
The pair have long faced speculation that they could be ‘expecting’ after Cheryl stepped out with a "baby bump" at a Christmas carol event.
While they have not addressed the rumours publicly, one person who has added more fuel to the fire is Olly Murs.
The You Don’t Know Love singer knew both during his time on ITV talent show The X Factor.
Speaking on the red carpet at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, he was asked why he thinks Cheryl and Liam would make good parents.
“Because I know them both,” he said.“I’ve known Cheryl since 2009 and Liam since 2010, and they’re just really nice people.
“And I think that they’d be fantastic and… you know just be really good,” Olly said with a smile.
