TINA Malone recently hit back after vicious trolls attacked her online.
But now it seems the Shameless star has taken matters into her own hands after it was claimed that she had reported the abuse to the police.
In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, the 53 year old was spotted entering Huyton Police Station in Merseyside on New Year’s Eve.
“[Tina] was reporting trolls who had been abusing her after she was pictured taking out the bins in her lingerie a few days ago,” a source told MailOnline.
"She was upset and shaken up.”
OK! Online have contacted Tina’s representatives for comment.
Tina has been the victim of online abuse ever since she revealed her weight loss earlier this year.

The talented actress lost an incredible 12 stone in six years before losing 1.5 stone over three months in 2016.

Calling out one troll in particular, the blonde wrote: “Remember when your feelin down and low come back and troll me,abuse me,rather then someone not as strong, dont abuse others (sic).”
She then went on to retweet hundreds of messages of support from her fans.
“Sounds like you've got an admirer Tina...creep is obsessed with your pictures,” joked one person.
Another added: "You are looking fab little lady. Girls should pass on praise to those that succeed. Well done you. Remember to stay classy.”
“Don't listen to them vile trolls! You've done & bin through so much in your life! Be proud (sic),” wrote a third.
While a fourth said: "Why does anyone have a problem with the amazing talented @TinaMalone23.”
"I've had more abuse with the last one and a half stone weight loss than I'd with my pregnancy, my nine ops or my gastric band,” the actress said.
"It affects my daughter Danielle and my husband Paul. I laugh about it, that's not bravado, that's the truth.
"I feel sorry for the Twitter trolls. They are sat in their room on their own. I say to them, 'Maybe you need help, maybe you are unloved or lonely'."
