GREY’S Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo went on a family hike around Los Angeles on Wednesday with a surprise addition.
The actress’ newborn baby made their public debut during the family outing.
After being photographed during the hike, Ellen’s representative confirmed that the family had welcomed the new addition.
Speaking to Us Weekly, they said: “Family and baby are all doing great.”
Ellen showed off her slender frame on the day out with her family in a pair of black leggings with a white stripe down the side.
She paired it with a white hoodie, which she wore over a loose-fitted white t shirt.
The 47 year old held on to her eldest daughter Stella’s hand – who kept hold of a large stick as she walked in the LA sun.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend introduce baby Luna to the world a few days after her birth - but they're not the only celeb couple who have introduced their pride and joy to the world via social media. Take a look at these adorable announcements
Chris Ivery walked apart from the girls, and kept his newborn baby close to him in a front-facing harness.
He kept hold of the tiny tot with one hand, making sure his baby was kept safe and sound during the walk.
Ellen and her husband Chris are notoriously private with their personal lives.
When she and Chris tied the knot in 2007, the couple kept it hidden for five days before announcing the news.
Two years ago, the Grey’s Anatomy actress kept the birth of her second child, Sienna, a secret for two months to protect the privacy of her surrogacy.
Soon after announcing the news, Ellen opened up about the surrogacy process during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
She said: “This is an incredible thing to do with your life, to give the gift of carrying someone’s child.
“I am forever grateful and feel very blessed and grateful to – she who will remain anonymous.”
Ellen added: “I was there with her when they inseminated her, and we held hands.
“I look into the microscope and I saw the embryo. I saw the baby and they put it in a thingy, and then inseminated her.
Ellen carried her first child herself, and in 2008 opened up about motherhood would be a “huge lifestyle change”.
Speaking to Allure magazine, she admitted she wouldn’t miss anything about her life with Chris without children, and confessed: “[Chris and I] enjoy our life so much.
“We go to Europe and sleep in.”
She added: “So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless time together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon.”
