Designer vaginas, nose jobs and cheek implants: Plastic surgery trends set to be big in 2017

GEMMA Collins, Ferne McCann and Mario Falcone have all been very public with their cosmetic surgery decisions in 2016.

With both Ferne McCann and Mario Falcone going under the knife to change their noses and Gemma Collins being so open about her designer vagina this year, it looks set to be a big 2017 for surgery.

In new reports, the rise in interest for rhinoplasty and vaginoplasty are set to be massive in the new year, especially after so many celebrities have been making the same minor alterations in 2016.

Charlotte Crosby and Chloe Ferry have also had nose jobs while Sinitta and Danniella Westbrook have had designer vaginas too.

Those aren't the only two trends emerging for 2017 either as WhatClinic.com have also predicted mini facelifts and cheek implants could be set to soar.

Based on enquiries they've had in the past three months, consultations are up for these procedures from 50 per cent to 589 per cent.

Reports said: "Data from the past three months suggests that mini facelifts will continue to increase in popularity in 2017, as will vaginoplasty, a process of strengthening the muscles and tissues of the vaginal canal and removing excess or damaged tissue.

"Vaginoplasty, in the number two position on 2017’s predicted top trends, saw a 130per cent increase in enquiries in the last three months of 2016. Celebrity favourite, nose jobs (rhinoplasty), has long been one of the most popular cosmetic procedures.

"Chloe Madley and Charlotte Crosby both admitted to having the procedure done in 2016."

There also seem to be some pretty random requests becoming popular over the last year as dimple creation and abdominal etching have been some of the fastest-growing procedures from the past 12 months.

Cheekbone reduction, liposuction, tummy tucks and butt lifts also made the top 10.

"The cosmetic surgery industry continues to thrive in the UK and 2016 saw an increase in enquiries for some procedures, with mini facelifts clearly the stand out procedure this year," Philip Boyle, Head of Consumer Matters for WhatClinic, said.

"This is an industry that moves quickly and demand is high, but in some cases, so is the risk. That’s why it’s so important for patients to have realistic expectations, and to not be swayed by offers or deals.

"Sometimes it’s better to wait for the ’latest’ thing to become tried and tested before you sign on the dotted line."

He added: "Nothing is risk free, so start by researching the treatment, and read reviews to make sure you pick the right clinic for you."

And while some celebrities are seeking alterations, 2016 has also been the year when stars have been making a stand against make-up.

Alicia Keys was one of the first to make a statement when she declared she would no longer wear make-up.

Frankie Bridge has also made a conscious effort to promote the natural look as has Kim Kardashian.
