EASTENDERS fans have been given a glimpse into what they can expect from the soap for the rest of the month.
The Walford residents have had a tumultuous start to 2017 with the dramatic death of Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell and it doesn't look like it's going to get any better after a new trailer was posted on the soap's official Twitter page.
The short clip opens with a distraught Jack Branning in tears before cutting to Max Branning rushing away from the police at the hotel.
After finding drugs in Roxy's bag, Max will be seen trying his best to escape the police's attention.
But the drama won't stop there as Denise Fox's life is set to be turned upside down.
Having kept the truth about her pregnancy a secret from everyone, the teaser trailer has hinted that the Minute Mart worker's family – including Phil Mitchell who was recently saved from death when he was given a liver transplant – could find out.
How will Kim and Patrick react?

The arrival of a familiar face looks set to shock Denise just as she's about to become a mother for the third time.
Across the Square, Mick Carter shows no signs of forgiving his son Lee following his admission that he was involved in the robbery that took place in the Queen Vic.
Lee was forced to come clean when Mick found a card with the Samaritans helpline in Lee's phone.
Meanwhile, viewers could see the moment Michelle Fowler reveals the real reason why she returned to Walford after leaving and starting a new life in America.
Having dodged questions about her return from her friends and family, Martin's sister will be seen breaking down in tears in front of Sharon.
But what is her secret?
Teasing what fans can expect, executive producer Sean O'Connor told the Radio Times: "As we know from her youth, Michelle was always a very complicated girl.
"She was a troubled, complicated, young woman, and now she’s hitting mid-late 40s she’s an even more complex character."
Revealing that Michelle has a deep and possibly dark history, the soap boss added: "A lot has happened off screen to her, as well as on-screen complications that we already know.
"The audience can expect her to be as explosive on her return as she was in the mid ‘80s, when she had Den’s child.
"She is not the sort of woman who would enter or leave Walford quietly."
EastEnders returns on BBC One at 8pm.
