Emily Andrea was on Lorraine to talk about her emergency caesarean when giving birth to son Theodore James Andre in 2016 with husband Peter Andre.

Talking about the experience, the doctor got very candid as she emotionally admitted that she felt like she let her son down.

Opening up to host Lorraine Kelly, Emily said: "The birth itself was fine, but he was breached. I had planned to have a natural labour, but obviously I couldn't, so I had a planned caesarean in the end, which I didn't expect.

"I felt disappointed, I felt like I had let him down as it is more risky a caesarean than a natural birth.

"[As a doctor] I looked into the risks and worried myself more than I should have done."

She added: "The caesarean was fine, but the recovery was really hard, harder than I thought it would be."

Emily admitted that it took her six weeks to recover in which she was unable to drive, pick up her other daughter Amelia and suffered difficulty breast feeding.

She said: "I didn't have that independence that I wanted. But luckily, I had Pete. He is fantastic, looking after both me and the baby after the caesarean."

Also during the interview, Emily appeared to have potentially of let slip some new baby details with Pete.

Talking about her birthing plans for the future, and if she would choose to have a caesarean again, she said: "I would rather not, I know I can do it with a natural delivery. I did it so naturally and easily with Milly, so I would try and have a natural birth next time."
