President-elect Donald Trump predicted Monday that every one of his cabinet nominations will win Senate confirmation.

"I think they'll all pass," Trump said during brief remarks to reporters in the lobby of Trump Tower in Midtown.

Senate confirmation hearings for Trump's cabinet picks will begin Tuesday morning with his selection for U.S. attorney general, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), whom Trump called "a high-quality man."

"He's going to do great," Trump said.

On Wednesday, hearings will commence for Rex Tillerson, Trump's designated secretary of state, Elaine Chao, Trump's designated secretary of transportation, Betsy Devos, the designated education secretary and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.), the designated CIA chief.

Trump, who appeared Monday alongside Alibaba.com CEO Jack Ma, called the meeting he held earlier in the morning with his fellow businessman "great."

"We had a great meeting. And a great, great entrepreneur, one of the best in the world. And he loves this country and he loves China," Trump said of Ma.

"Jack and I going to do some great things," he said.

Trump, however, declined to answer questions about last week's intelligence report showing that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered hacking efforts to influence the 2016 election.

"We'll talk about that at another time," he said.
